- Pfannenstiel → Bollenwees: about 2 h each way on the inn’s quickest, easiest route. The official Alp Sigel circuit is 11.77 km · 4 h 15 · +513/−1,167 m · T2, but adds a steep descent.

- Renovated private double rooms; breakfast included. Shared washrooms, with shower use included for room guests.

- Restaurant dinner is chosen from the menu; Appenzell specialities and breakfast are confirmed, dinner price is not.
